The Challenge
Global law firm with an important client that wanted to file in 65 countries – some of which the firm had no experience, i.e., Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guernsey, Guyana, Jersey, Kiribati, Montserrat, Nauru, Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Saint Lucia, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Turkish Cyprus, Turks and Caicos Islands and Tuvalu. They needed a partner that had expertise in these countries.
Our Approach
Worked with the law firm to develop a hybrid approach – we would handle 23 filings using our extensive member network and our experienced case management team. We met with the law firm and end client once every 2 weeks on an operational call to discuss the open items on the action list and to ask/answer any questions.
The Result
All nationalizations were handled smoothly, on time, and on the budget quoted. The global law firm and their client appreciated how easy it was to coordinate filings in expanded jurisdictions with a single point of contact.
