What you will be doing:

The Director of Network will lead Azami’s global network of IP associates and partners, ensuring strong commercial relationships, active partner engagement, and adherence to Azami’s quality standards. Acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers, the Director will cultivate and maintain productive relationships, conduct regular check-ins, and proactively address any issues that arise. The role also involves standardizing and maintaining supplier fee structures, negotiating competitive pricing, and driving process optimization and quality assurance by managing essential documentation, developing supplier performance metrics, and conducting regular quality assessments to identify top-performing partners and share best practices across the network.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Azami’s network of associates and partners, negotiating commercial terms to secure competitive pricing for Azami and its customers.
  • Ensure consistent partner engagement through structured communication, regular check-ins and feedback loops, while overseeing the implementation and ongoing adherence to Azami’s quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and senior leadership to leverage network data for scalable, tech-driven solutions, and serve as a voice of the network within Azami, ensuring partner capabilities align with customer needs and the company’s growth strategy. 
  • Successfully onboard partners onto Azami’s PRM system and actively drive and monitor their ongoing engagement and interaction with the platform
  • Monitor partner/vendor-related costs, including their impact on gross margins, collaborating with the Pricing Team and FP&A to ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Provide commercial insights to Sales and Customer Success teams, ensuring associate selection aligns with customer quality preferences and organizational objectives, and act as an escalation point for associate-related issues impacting customer experience.
  • Track deals and enforce scalable workflows, digitizing processes where appropriate, and drive initiatives to reduce costs while balancing reciprocity obligations and strategic relationships.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments, identify top-performing suppliers, and share best practices across the network to strengthen and expand Azami’s global associate network.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-6 years in international vendor management, partner relations, and procurement. Experience with vendor networks is strongly preferred.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of negotiating terms and managing cost structures (COGS, margins, reciprocity).
  • Leadership: Ability to engage cross-functional teams (Operations, FP&A, Commercial, Customer Success) and drive compliance with policies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven decision-making skills; comfort with profitability monitoring, pricing models, and financial impact analysis.
  • Process Orientation: Experience in designing workflows and digitizing processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Communication: Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
